NCUT (North China University of Technology) is located in the western part of Beijing City and situated at the foot of picturesque Xishan Hills with traffic facilities and pleasant environment.

NCUT is founded in 1946 and in 1985 it was renamed North China University of Technology, which is a multi-disciplinary institution, taking Engineering as its main fields of study and instruction, combines Engineering and Science with Liberal Arts, Economy, Management and Law in its teaching and research programs. Ever since 1998, NCUT was funded by Central Government and Beijing Municipal Government and began to run mainly under the administration of Beijing Municipal Government. At present, NCUT has a population of 11 thousands more students altogether, including the full-time undergraduate students and postgraduate students, besides, it has more than 4000 students in Adult Higher Education.

The Central Academy of Drama is an educational institution supervised by the Ministry of Education and it is ranked as one of the best top-level drama and stage arts institutions in China. The Central Academy of Drama is Asia Theatre Education Centre’s （ATEC） headquarters and it also acts as a base for the Global Alliance of Theatre Schools （GATS） International Theatre Festival.The history of the Central Academy of Drama dates back to more than 70 years, to April 10th, 1938, when Yan An Lu Xun Art College was established. After that, it was merged with the Arts Faculty of North China Union University, the North China University Part Ⅲ, and the Nanking National Academy of Drama, forming the Central Academy of Drama.The Central Academy of Drama opened officially in December, 1949 and held the inaugural conference on 2nd of April, 1950, when Mao Zedong inscribed the official name in calligraphy. Founded in 1950, the Central Conservatory of Music is located at the former Prince Chun's Residence of Qing Dynasty and merged together with the National Conservatory of Music, the Peking National School of Fine Arts and other 6 departments of music in Universities from 1920s to 1940s in China. Music Department of the Yenching University ( 1927), the Music Department of the Literature and Art School of the North China University (1939), the National Academy of Music in Nanjing (1940), the Music Department of the National Peiping School of Arts (1946), and the Music Department of the Northeast Lu Hsun Institute of Literature and Art. Moved from Tianjin to Beijing in 1958, it was ranked among the national leading universities in 1960.  Over the past 50 years since its formation, CIIR has been able to provide degree education, advanced vocational education, professional skill training and trade unionists training, with adult degree education as its supplement. It ranks in the forefront in the fields of trade union study, industrial relations, labour law, social security and safety engineering. There are 10 Departments such as social work, industrial relations, law and so on, a Training Center for Trade Union Leaders and an Advanced Vocational School, with 13 disciplines for undergraduates, 6 disciplines for advanced vocational education. Established in December of 1985 on the basis of the Central School of China Communist Youth League (CCYL), China Youth University for Political Sciences (CYUPS) is an institute of higher education affiliated with the Central Committee of China Communist Youth League. Today, CYUPS takes up the responsibilities of offering regular higher education programs and providing training courses for youth leaders. China Women’s University (CWU) is the first state-run institute of higher learning exclusively for women in China offering a bachelor and associate degrees. It is affiliated with the All-China Women’s Federation and academically administered by the Ministry of Education. Madam Chen Muhua, former Vice-Chairperson of the National People’s Congress and Chairperson of the All-China Women’s Federation, is the Honorary President of CWU.

China Foreign Affairs University, the only institution of higher learning under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.China, aims to train professional personnel in foreign service, international studies as well as in the careers related to international business and law. The university was founded in 1955 under the suggestion of the late Premier Zhou Enlai. Accredited by the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council of the P.R.China, CFAU offers Doctoral, Master and Bachelor degrees. The strong subjects of CFAU are Diplomacy, International Relations, and International Law. PUMCThe Peking Union Medical College was founded in 1906. The American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A., the London Missionary Society, and later, the Board of Foreign Missions of the Methodist Episcopal Church, the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, and the Medical Missionary Association of London, together with the then-Chinese government cooperated in the foundation and development of the Medical College and maintained it until 1915. The China Medical Board assumed full support of the Union Medical College in 1915 based on the recommendation of a Commission established by the Rockefeller Foundation to examine medical education in China. The Commission's members had included both William Welch, the first Dean of the Johns Hopkins Medical School, and Simon Flexner. The China Medical Board modeled the school after Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine following the recommendations of the Flexner Report which set the foundation of modern Medical Education in the United States and Canada. The PUMC was reorganized in 1917 and celebrated its 90th anniversary with a ceremony attended by the President of Johns Hopkins University, the Chair of the China Medical Board and representatives of the Rockefeller family and Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Beijing Electronic Science and Technology Institute (北京电子科技学院) is a university in Beijing, China. It is a major research institute of information security in China. It consists of five departments, with approximately 1,000 students. It belongs to the General Office of the Communist Party of China.

Minzu University of China （MUC） is one of China’s most important comprehensive universities, and is one of the 38 key universities receiving direct support from the Chinese government. Focusing on Humanities and featured by Ethnic Studies, MUC has a comprehensive set of disciplines covering liberal arts, science, engineering, medical science, management, education, economics, politics, law, arts and physical education. MUC has 23 colleges offering 55 undergraduate programs, 140 master programs, and 39 doctoral programs. China University of Political Science and Law （CUPL） is a national key university focusing on Legal Science and covering Political Science, Literature, Historical Science, Philosophy, Economics, Management Science and other majors. Its predecessor is Beijing Politics and Law Institute, which was founded in 1952 by the merge of the disciplines of law, political science and sociology of Peking University, Yenching University, FuRen University and Tsinghua University.China University of Political Science and Law is the highest institute for legal education in China and serves as an important base for fostering high-level political and legal talents in China. At present, the university boasts 17 undergraduate majors, 18 doctorate stations and 45 master’s majors. It is now one of the seven universities who have the authority to set up undergraduate majors ratified by the Ministry of Education, P. R. China.

 Chinese People's Public Security University is the ordinary institutions of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security Ministry of Public cum Senior Police Academy, founded in July 1948, after the public security cadre school in North, Central Cadre School of Public Security, the Central People's Public Security University, the Central Political cadres schools period. January 1984, converted into full-time higher colleges. February 1998, with the original Chinese People's University police merged to form the new Chinese People's Public Security University. Founded more than 60 years, a national law enforcement authorities to train police, transported more than 200,000 leaders at all levels, key personnel and specialists, known as the 'cradle of the Republic of police officers.'

he Communication University of China (CUC) is one of China’s key universities of "Project 211”, directly under the guidance of the State Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was a training center for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau that was founded in 1954. In April of 1959, the school was upgraded to the Beijing Broadcasting Institute approved by the State Council. In August of 2004, the BBI was renamed into the Communication University of China. Located in the east part of Beijing and near the OldCanal, the CUC occupies 473,000 square meters with a total construction area of 383,000 square meters.The motto of the CUC is "integrity, professionalism, erudition and competence”.
