NCUT (North China University of Technology) is located in the western part of Beijing City and situated at the foot of picturesque Xishan Hills with traffic facilities and pleasant environment.
NCUT is founded in 1946 and in 1985 it was renamed North China University of Technology, which is a multi-disciplinary institution, taking Engineering as its main fields of study and instruction, combines Engineering and Science with Liberal Arts, Economy, Management and Law in its teaching and research programs. Ever since 1998, NCUT was funded by Central Government and Beijing Municipal Government and began to run mainly under the administration of Beijing Municipal Government. At present, NCUT has a population of 11 thousands more students altogether, including the full-time undergraduate students and postgraduate students, besides, it has more than 4000 students in Adult Higher Education. The Central Academy of Drama is an educational institution supervised by
the Ministry of Education and it is ranked as one of the best top-level
drama and stage arts institutions in China. The Central Academy of
Drama is Asia Theatre Education Centre’s (ATEC) headquarters and it also
acts as a base for the Global Alliance of Theatre Schools (GATS)
International Theatre Festival.The history of the Central Academy of
Drama dates back to more than 70 years, to April 10th, 1938, when Yan An
Lu Xun Art College was established. After that, it was merged with the
Arts Faculty of North China Union University, the North China University
Part Ⅲ, and the Nanking National Academy of Drama, forming the Central
Academy of Drama.The Central Academy of Drama opened officially in
December, 1949 and held the inaugural conference on 2nd of April, 1950,
when Mao Zedong inscribed the official name in calligraphy. The former
leaders of the Academy include Ouyang Yuqian, Cao Yu, Zhang Geng, Guang
Weiran, Sha Kefu, Li Bozhao, Jin Shan, Xu Xiaozhong and Wang Yongde. At

Founded in 1950, the Central Conservatory of Music is located at the
former Prince Chun's Residence of Qing Dynasty and merged together with
the National Conservatory of Music, the Peking National School of Fine
Arts and other 6 departments of music in Universities from 1920s to
1940s in China. Music Department of the Yenching University ( 1927), the
Music Department of the Literature and Art School of the North China
University (1939), the National Academy of Music in Nanjing (1940), the
Music Department of the National Peiping School of Arts (1946), and the
Music Department of the Northeast Lu Hsun Institute of Literature and
Art. Moved from Tianjin to Beijing in 1958, it was ranked among the
national leading universities in 1960. Currently, it was listed as one
of the leading universities in the "211 project" in 2000, the only
institution in Academies of Fine Arts in China, and only key institution
of higher learning supervised directly under the Ministry of Education
of the State Council among all academies of arts in China. The

Over the past 50 years since its formation, CIIR has been able to provide degree education, advanced vocational education, professional skill training and trade unionists training, with adult degree education as its supplement. China Foreign Affairs University, the only institution of higher

PUMCThe Peking Union Medical College was founded in 1906. The American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A., the London Missionary Society, and later, the Board of Foreign Missions of the Methodist Episcopal Church, the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, and the Medical Missionary Association of London, together with the then-Chinese government cooperated in the foundation and development of the Medical College and maintained it until 1915. The China Medical Board assumed full support of the Union Medical College in 1915 based on the recommendation of a Commission established by the Rockefeller Foundation to examine medical education in China. The Commission's members had included both William Welch, the first Dean of the Johns Hopkins Medical School, and Simon Flexner. The China Medical Board modeled the school after Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine following the recommendations of the Flexner Report which set the foundation of modern Medical Education in the United States and Canada. The PUMC was reorganized in 1917 and celebrated its 90th anniversary with a ceremony attended by the President of Johns Hopkins University, the Chair of the China Medical Board and representatives of the Rockefeller family and Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Minzu University of China (MUC) is one of China’s most important

Beijing
Sport University is a famous university which has a glorious history,
profound deposit of culture, solid schooling foundation and distinctive
education characteristics. Planning for this university began in July,
1952 and it was founded formally in November of that year. This marked
the beginning of China’s modern higher education in sports. In 1960, the
university was one among the first batch of key national universities
approved by the State Council. Again in 1978, the State
Council designated it as one of 88 key national universities. In 1981,
the academic degree system was established in China. Beijing Sport
University was among the first batch of institutions granting master
degrees with the approval of the State Council. Then, in 1986,the State Council approved Beijing Sport University as an institution to grant PhDs. In 2001,the State Council issued No.﹝2001﹞15
document to indicate that Beijing Sport University would be

Under the direct leadership of Ministry of Education of China (MOE), CUFE is one of the national "211" key universities (one of the 100 universities to which the Chinese government has attached top priority for the 21st Century). he Communication University of China (CUC) is one of China’s key universities of "Project 211”, directly under the guidance of the State Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was a training center for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau that was founded in 1954. In April of 1959, the school was upgraded to the Beijing Broadcasting Institute approved by the State Council. In August of 2004, the BBI was renamed into the Communication University of China. Located in the east part of Beijing and near the OldCanal, the CUC occupies 473,000 square meters with a total construction area of 383,000 square meters.The motto of the CUC is "integrity, professionalism, erudition and competence”.
